Manufacturers are always eager to get people buying their new products. One of the ways they get consumers to buy their products is to let them try them first for free. There are many places to get free samples online, and once you start getting them you'll look forward to opening your mailbox each day. :)
Walmart: Walmart's website usually has 2-4 free sample offers. You can check this page here to see if there are any available.
Target: Target also offers free samples from time to time. In fact, I recently received a free make-up bag full of free samples and a $25 coupon book from Target. It was a really good freebie.Go here to see if there are any samples available.
Facebook: As mentioned in another post, Facebook has become a great place for manufacturers to market their products, and they give away samples galore for Facebook fans.
Costco/Sam's Club: Both Costco and Sam's Club offer free samples that you can sign up for online. Sometimes these samples are for members only (and you'll need to enter your membership number) and sometimes you don't.
StartSampling.com: StartSampling is a reputable site that connects with with many free samples. You need to set up a username and password to request samples from them. They also have links to other offers and memberships which can get spammy, so I stick to free samples only from this site.
Free samples are popping up all the time and the best way to be notified when they are available is to follow a couponing/deal blog. All the bloggers like to post links to free samples when they're available.
Because there are so many offers like these online, and they require you to fill in your name and address, I find that an autofill program saves a lot of time. I use Google toolbar which has an autofill button. Once you create an autofill profile, all it takes is one click to fill in your name, address, birthday, and phone number. You can download Google toolbar here.
